It was game day, the Friday before Super Bowl LIII, and the Schroth School Sharks took on Monmouth University Hawks in a tough battle on the gridiron for the championship. The teams were cheered on by the Schroth Pre-School Sharks, dressed in their Shark hats, and the Monmouth Hawks Cheerleaders. The stadium (Great Room) was packed with spectators supporting their home team.
Each class took to the field, passing from player to player until they reached the goal! What a game! The Hawks were being tossed to the ground (falling to the floor for dramatic effect) by the Shark’s defense as they neared the end zone.
We were entertained at half time by our very own Daniel, with a momentous rendition of “This is Me”. Before long, both teams and spectators joined in, singing along and dancing.
Back to the 2nd half, it was a nail biting finish when Schroth Sharks took the win with the final touchdown, breaking a tie score.
Thanks to Monmouth University Hawks and the Hawks Cheerleaders for giving all of us at the Schroth Center an exciting and fun morning. Their sportsmanship and willingness to brighten the lives of our students and clients is greatly appreciated.
