Barlo & Associates Architects, LLC headquartered in Brick, New Jersey presented LADACIN Network’s Executive Director, Patricia Carlesimo with a Capital Needs Assessment to evaluate the safety and physical infrastructure of three LADACIN buildings and provide a template for LADACIN to use on its remaining facilities. The project, valued at $15,000 was donated by Barlo & Associates as a result of their association with Monmouth-Ocean Development Council’s Project Connection, which marries members of the business community with nonprofits in need. Paul Barlo, President of Barlo & Associates, is also currently the President of the Board of MODC. LADACIN has 15 facilities throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties where they provide a continuum of care including educational, therapeutic, social, residential and support services to infants, children, and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities.
“The information provided in Barlo’s report is essential to the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individuals LADACIN serves. Thanks to their generous donation of time and expertise, we have additional resources to devote to the critical upkeep of our buildings”, said Ms. Carlesimo.

LADACIN is currently reviewing the Capital Needs Assessment and will prioritize projects accordingly.
