LADACIN Network’s School Programs are currently seeking a certified Augmentative Communication Consultant to work with students with disabilities.  Lehmann and Schroth School’s staff work collaboratively as a transdisciplinary team (educational, therapeutic, and medical) to meet the goals of each individual student. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting student’s individualized education plan by providing the following in collaboration with the student’s team:

Once per month clinic with staff for:

  • New students
  • Students aging out of current device
  • Students transitioning from low tech devices to higher tech devices
  • Working on student’s individual devices  
  • Serving as a resource for access to new technology


Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.

  • On-site child care available


  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech and Language Pathology
  • DOE certificate
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication certificate
  • Excellent human relations skills and a working knowledge of the English language in written and verbal form
  • Works effectively with administrators, colleagues, and school students, parents, and community members
  • Must pass a criminal record history check and be able to receive clearance by the Department of Education
