LADACIN Network held its 30th Annual Rosebud Gala Dinner Dance on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel.
Rosebud Gala honorees were CWR Electronics, Inc., Corporate Honoree, and United Way of Monmouth County, Farmingdale, and United Way of Ocean County, Toms River, Humanitarian Honorees. William A. B. Ditto, III, Howell, received the Ginger Peters Lifetime Achievement Award.
Doug Sjonvall, Director of Marketing and Promotions, Greater Media New Jersey - 95.9 WRAT and Magic 100.1, Marilyn Shapiro, Marlboro, friend of the Agency, and Kathleen Vivona, Toms River, LADACIN Network Board Member, co-chaired the event.
Carl Craft and Marty Martinez, co-hosts of 95.9 WRAT’s “Morning RAT Race”, served as Masters of Ceremonies. Tim McLoone & The Shirleys performed for 273 guests. Howard Cross, sports broadcaster and former NY Giants tight end, entertained the guests while conducting a live auction.
The Silent Auction featured a 14kt white gold and diamond bracelet donated by Twin City Jewelers, Lakewood, and a NY Yankee Legend Ticket Package. Gabowitz TV & Appliance Company, East Brunswick, donated a Panasonic 58” 3D TV, Daewoo washer and dryer, and a 36” Wolf barbecue grill.
Florists from Monmouth and Ocean Counties showcased their talents in the floral centerpiece contest. Gala attendees voted for the winners. The first prize winner, Flowers by Farrah, Tinton Falls, will receive a $2,500 radio advertising package generously donated by Greater Media New Jersey. Kirk Florist, Farmingdale, won second place honors and third place winners were Flowers by Rhonda, Brielle and Wegmans, Ocean Township.

LADACIN Network serves 2,600 infants, children and adults with cerebral palsy and other multiple physical and developmental disabilities living in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
